Experimental musician from Groningen.

“Statera” is the Latin word for “balance”. Balance is the one principle which holds an almost universally healthy appliance to all kinds of situations…

In normal language, this basically means you don’t want too much or too little of anything.

Statera is Latin for balance. And that word perfectly describes Statera’s music. It scrapes, explores the edges and it pops. He has always been interested in making some form of music, but the documentary “Cobain: Montage of Heck” steered his career path to playing guitar and singing. This was quickly accompanied by producing beats.

With zero experience and a dream richer, the Dutch Northerling decided to get started. The first steps led him through alternative rock, grunge and metal. Inspired by hip hop heroes like Smokepurpp & Ghostemane and grunge legends like Nirvana & Alice In Chains, Statera began to experiment with alternative rock and trap beats.

After years of searching, trying and experimenting, the time has finally come. It’s time to introduce the world to the sound of Statera. The ingredients are solid beats with singing and rap, packed with unpredictable twists. These elements are blended into a musical cocktail with great ambitions. – Written by Riemer Vaatstra
